FAQ's
Here are some of our frequently asked questions. If you can't find the answers to a question please contact Misty at: 630-240-5094
- How do I know what class to sign my child up for?
- A detailed description of our different programs and our levels can be found on our levels page. All new swimmers will be evaluated on the first day to determine what level they will be placed in. If you are unsure, we recommend to sign up for a lower level class, as it is always easier to move the kids up to a higher level than move them down.
- Do parents need to be in the water with their child?
- The only class in which a parent or guardian must be in the water with their swimmer, is the parent/tot class. At all of our facilities, there is a seating area for the parents and families to watch the classes and support their swimmers
- What do I need to bring to class?
- The only necessary things to bring to class every day is a swimsuit and towel. There are family changing rooms at all of our facilities for our swimmers to use.
- Swimmers do not have to wear goggles, and we do not recommend them for our Parent/Tot, Pre-School, or Level 1-3 classes
- Do you offer private/semi-private lessons?
- Yes, we do offer both private and semi-private lessons
- To schedule a private lesson, or inquire about availability and pricing, contact us.
- Do you offer multiple family member discounts?
- We do not offer discounts for multiple family members.
- Do you offer make ups classes?
- We do not offer make up classes. With our lessons at capacity, it is unfair to allow swimmers to attend another class. We pride ourselves on small student to instructor ratios. When swimmers attend another class, it can adversely effect those ratios and the swimmers registered for that class.
- If a swimmer must miss any classes due to a sustained illness, a doctors note must be provided to consider a credit for the class.
- Do you offer refunds for cancellations?
- If you need to cancel a class for any reason, there is a $10 cancellation fee to cancel before the classes start. Once a session has started, refunds are only offered for medical or family emergencies that keep the student from completing the session.
