POSTINGS** The entries for the
Silver Conference, Gold Conference, and St. Charles meet have been
added to our
"Events/Meets" page. Just go to the meet you desire to
find the entries and other details on that specific meet. We
have also posted a list of current Age Group Championship
individual qualifiers to our
"Events/Meets" page under the 2008 Age Group Championships
page.
7/7/08 - **PALATINE MEET ENTRIES &
INFO** The entries and meet
information for the Palatine meet (7/11 thru 7/13) has been posted
to our "Events/Meets" page. Please note the
event limits on Friday PM by viewing the psych sheet posted.
If you have any questions, please speak to your group coach.
7/7/08 - **HINSDALE & DELTA
RESULTS** The results for both the
Hinsdale Mid-Summer Classic as well as the Delta vs. Academy
Bullets Dual Meet have been posted to our "Results" page. You can also view a
recap of the two meets by viewing the "News/Updates" page.
6/23/08 - **OLYMPIC
TRIALS** The US Olympic Trials are
fast approaching. Visit USA Swimming’s Olympic Trials page or go
to our "Events/Meets" page for meet details,
including a preliminary psych sheet for the meet. The trials
will be broadcast live on NBC and USA beginning Sunday, June 29th
and run through Sunday, July 6th. We wish the best of luck to
current and former Bullets competing at the meet:
Mackenzie Powers, Olivia Scott, Mary DeScenza, Patty
DeScenza, & Brittany Doss.

POSTED** The results for the
Charlotte UltraSwim as well as the Parkway Summer Sizzler have been
posted to our "Results" page. Recaps of both meets,
including high point winners and record breakers can be found on
our "News/Updates" page.
6/23/08 - **AGE GROUP CHAMPS
PAGE** The web page for the 2008
Age Group State Championships has been activated on our wbe
site. In the coming weeks, more details will be posted for
visiting teams as well as Bullet families. Details on hosting
this event will be emailed out to Bullet families in the next few
days. If you have any questions about the meet, please

POSTED** The entries for the
Hinsdale Mid-Summer Classic (6/27-6/29) have been posted to

6/4/08 - **CHARLOTTE RECAP - DAY
1** What a first day for the
Bullets! The most exciting news is that Mackenzie
Powers qualified for the Olympic Trials in the
Women’s 100 Butterfly (1:02.26), increasing our team
individual qualifier total to two. Olivia
Scott finished 5th overall in the 100 Fly
(1:00.79) with a new personal best time. We had a
number of fantastic swims for the day from all our swimmers.
Congrats to everyone. More updates coming tomorrow.
6/4/08 - **CHARLOTTE ULTRASWIM
RESULTS** We want to wish the best of
luck to the 10 Bullets who are competing this weekend at the 2008
Charlotte UltraSwim. Some of the swimmers have been training
for the last 9 months for this meet in hopes of qualifying for the

4/22/08 - **APPAREL ORDER**
Swimmers Edge will be coming in to Marmion Academy on Tuesday,
April 29th from 5:30-7:00 PM to do an apparel fitting for our
club. Click
here for the order form. There will be no practice on
4/29 for Bronze, Silver I, or Silver II due to the fitting.
If you are unable to make the fitting, you can contact Swimmers
Edge directly or order online by logging in to our site.
4/9/08 - **NEW AMERICAN
RECORD** Former Academy Bullet Mary
Descenza broke the American record in the 200 SCM Butterfly
(2:04.27) today at the 2008 Short Course World Championships in
Manchester, England. Mary won the gold medal in the event, as
well as establishing a new World Championships meet record.
Congratulations Mary on this amazing accomplishment!
4/4/08 - **RESULTS AFTER DAY
2** After two days of competition,
Amy Chapman is having quite a meet at the 2008
U.S. Paralympic Trials! On Thursday, Amy finished 4th place
in the 100 Breast (Ranked 17th in the world) with a best time
by 8 seconds. Amy came back on Friday and had 3 tough
events. She won the 200 Backstroke and 200 Breaststroke
events and finished 2nd in the 100 Back. Amy’s 100
Meter Backstroke time was a best time, and eclipsed her 100 Yard
Back time. Amy will be competing in the 200 IM on
Saturday. Congrats Amy!

3/28/08 - **JUNIOR NATIONAL
RESULTS** The Bullets had a great
showing at the NCSA Junior National Championships. 15
swimmers attended the meet, with most achieveing life-time best
times throughout the 4 1/2 day event. Details on the meet, as
well as Top 24 finishers and Team Recordbreakers, can be found on
the News
page.
3/28/08 - **LETTER TO THE
TEAM** Bill Schalz recently sent out a
letter to all Bullet members regarding the upcoming summer season
(Lewis University) and an announcement regarding Fall 2008.

3/25/08 - **ACCOUNT STATUS**
There are a number of families who have yet to access their account
in the new web site. You must have access to your account to
be able to register for the Spring/Summer season. If you have
not received your username/password or need help with the system,
please email Coach Todd immediately and he will assist you.
3/24/08 -
**AGE GROUP STATE CHAMPIONS** The
Academy Bullets Swim Club won the 2008 Age Group State
Championships last week at UIC. The Bullets finished over 300
points ahead of their competitors to win their 2nd straight
and five out of the last six Age Group State Championships.
The coaches were extremely happy with all of the performances over
the weekend. Congratulations to all the swimmers who competed
and helped win this meet. Full meet results will be posted
shortly. Listed on the News
page are new team record holders as well as State Championship
performances from the meet. Can anyone guess why everything
is written in blue???
